"The Boys are Back in Town!" Happy Tuesday! A week of beer pouring (and tasting!) has rejuvenated these guys they haven't stopped spouting out new ideas since their plane landed! With the return of everyone from the GABF, comes the return of our Old Mill Pond ESB. We will be tapping a fresh batch this afternoon and what better day than a Tuesday with $3 Pints, 35 cent wings and the Red Sox! Another great day to stop in this week will be Thursday. We've decided to try some of Steve's new ideas before putting them on the menu and we would like all of you to be our taste testers! One thing he suggested was a Pulled Pork Pizza. I thought it sounded a little crazy.until I tried it. You'll have to let me know what you think. We'll have a Free Buffet from 4 until 6. Also, we'll have our DSB on tap! This batch has been aged for one year! (I told you guys I would get emails out to let you know!) This week just keeps getting better with our Cambridge House Open Golf Tournament on Friday! We have a few spots still open. Give me a call at the Pub if you are interested. We are planning on golfing during the day; then dinner, prizes and of course more CBH beer at the course, and later back to the Pub for the UConn game! It should be quite a day! Saturday, we'll be watching the Red Sox on the big screens. That is if they're still in it. I guess I can't say much since my Yankees did just about as good as Steve's Mets! I will really be looking forward to Sunday football. Everyone's team is still in it in the NFL and we have enough TVs to go around! Well if that's not enough, next week is "Rocktoberfest"! We are celebrating Oktoberfest at The Cambridge House with our Flight of the Oktoberfest and great German dinner specials. Drink CBH OktoberAle, eat a Brewer's Wurst Platter and rock with Open Mic & Dave Costa Thursday night, Flipper Dave Friday night & Norm Blackwelder & Point Black Saturday night! Well, the boys have a "to do" list for me a mile long, so I better get going. Luckily for me, Steve is off to Canada soon to check out a 2nd brewing system for our new location.
