American Craft Beer Week & Open Casting Call?
May 14 - May 20 (I remembered the date this time!) is American Craft Beer Week and to celebrate we are beginning our "Contest of the Year"! Stop down to register and get your special CBH "Passport". Passports will only be available during American Craft beer Week!
Over the next 60 days you will have the chance to get your passport "stamped" during each CBH visit. The top ten Cambridge House Passport holders will be invited to participate in a Special Beer Contest (includes beer knowledge & tastings) during the week of July 22nd.
The winner & a guest will then be on their way to Denver, Colorado in early October to attend The Great American Beer Festival with the Cambridge House Team.
The festivities will include a private "Brewers Only" reception at Wynkoop Brewery, an official brewery rep badge which will allow you to sample close to 3,000 hand crafted ales, a turn or two pouring beer and greeting guests from around the world at our booth and finally, if / when we win a medal, you will go up on stage with Steve Schmidt and Dave Weikel to accept it!
From last year's "Notes from the GABF", it sounds like these guys really know how to have a good time out there, so I can guarantee this is a trip not to be missed!
Also, throughout the week we will have different beer and food specials to celebrate American Craft beer Week. There may even be a Cask Ale that Dave has been hiding away just for this week. Check your email during the week to be the first to find out!

Wednesday, May 16 Shootingstartv.com will be filming a live TV commercial at The Cambridge! The commercial will run throughout New England highlighting us and a few other hot spots! For the special event we are going to have Dave Costa playing from 4:00 - 6:00 to get the party going.
Come on down, who knows this could be your big break!!!
Summer Menu - Mac & Cheese on a Pizza?
On a different note, we have a new summer menu that we are beginning this weekend (Friday, May 11). There are a bunch of new items. (Don't worry Patty, the poppers are not going away!) Scott recommends the Garlic Stuffed Mushrooms and Steve is already hooked on the new Mac & Cheese Pizza. Personally I'm excited for the new salads and the South Shore Tuna. I guess you'll just have to find your own new favorite!
