Big Hoppy Cask on Today!
I just wanted to drop everyone a quick note to let you know that at 4:00 today, we will tap a Cask of Big Hoppy Organic Double IPA! There is a limited supply, so get down early before we drink it all! (Sorry, no growlers!)
Since I've already interrupted your busy day, I've got a couple more things:
Today is a "Double Stamp Day" for those of you with a CT Beer Guy Contest Card. Stop in today and receive two stamps on your contest card! For those of you that haven't picked up a card yet, there is still time! Beginning this week, every Sunday in May will be a double stamp day!
Tomorrow, May 1 is the release of our long-awaited Maibock! This is a truly special beer that Dave and Steve have brewed. At over 8% ABV, it has a very full flavor, though it is quite light in color. A traditional German-style Spring beer!
Also, don't forget about the Kentucky Derby on Saturday! Festivities begin at 4:00 with a betting window, a "Derby Hat" Contest, Mint Juleps and other drink specials. Of course, Chef Jim will be cookin up some traditional Derby fare too!
