Another day another medal the boys scored again with their "Alt 45", and received the very prestigious Silver Medal!
What makes this even more impressive is that the beer is unfiltered and won in the filtered category, next year we may just invest in a filter and see just how many beers will claim victory!
To date we have entered 3 official beer judging contests and received 4 medals (3 gold, 1 silver) not too shabby. It was also nice to see that two other Connecticut brewpubs entered the GABF (no breweries entered, what's up Thomas Hooker), time to promote the Northeast.
The celebratory dinner was fantastic, it included Japanese beer, crown royal and a little tequila, I think!
Today we head home and Monday it's back to work, looking for the perfect distribution outlet, because this beer is too good to keep to ourselves and must be put on the store shelves soon!!
