Cancel your plans for this Saturday, The Cambridge House has already planned your whole day! There is a contest that will forever affect your experience at The Cambridge House and a field trip to see some local culture.
Starting at noon and going till 4pm are bartender tryouts. Come, put these candidates to the test and then vote for your favorite. You better vote, as the winner will be receiving a bartending job at The Cambridge House and will be making YOUR drinks and pouring YOUR beer We don't want another Mark working here (I know you're reading this, Mark). Then in the evening, we are all going on a FIELD TRIP, to Salmon Brook Park to watch the kick-off event of Giddy Up To Granby a Painted Horse, Public Art Project. This is the only time you will be able to see all 42 horses in one location. Why bother going all over Granby to see this public art project when you can be in one place and watch the horses go by you while listen to some live music. Now, I am not sure if you know this but Salmon Brook Park does not allow people to drink alcohol within the park, so after the parade we are heading back to The Cambridge House for a bite to eat (there will be a Giddy Up To Granby special). And since you're here, you might as well stay to enjoy Late Night Happy Hour, where all pints are just $2.50 after 10pm.
