Stephen Schmidt was most recently the Director of Brewery Operations for the Empire Brewing Company, a popular brewpub chain in western New York state. He oversaw the chain's Syracuse and Rochester branches. During his seven years with Empire, he won eight medals, including five gold medals in the Great American Beer Festival and a bronze medal in the World Beer Cup, the "Olympics of beer competitions."

The Cambridge House race team! Updated 4/29/08 The first weekend of racing for this season has certainly started well!
Saturday brought me a 3rd place finish in the GTL race. I managed two good starts (yeah we had to restart due to a crash) and was then able to keep it going. The bike really feels comfortable this year so I am hoping for some more improvements as the season continues!
Sunday followed up very well also with a 3rd place in the Ultra Light Super Bike race. Then a 2nd place in my Light Weight Formula Forty race! Now that makes for a great start of the season. With some work I'am sure I can knock some more time off my laps and hopefully keep the momentum going.
Steve
