The Cambridge Brew Review

Greetings and Salutations,

I was thinking "out loud" the other day to Ms. Bailey and said "I think we should give our VIP subscribers an update on all the things going on around here".

I asked her to listen to my rants, write them down, collect and organize them and put them in an email for you our VIP Subscribers!

She had an even a better idea "Do it yourself" she said "for that personal touch you love sooo much" she quickly followed with and she was right so here goes!!!!

Just kidding Meghan....

First of all Congratulations to the City of Torrington CT for being voted the #1 "Dream town" in the USA, honest I can't make this stuff up, check it out for yourself by clicking here.

By the way did you know we are opening a new restaurant in Torrington CT, coincidence I think not!!!!

The CBH in T-Town looks to open its doors in Mid August, yes Mr. Scanlon 2008!!!!

The building looks great, 25 foot high ceilings, exposed spiral ductwork, 200 plus seats which include custom booths and a beautiful 26 foot long bench decorated in black distressed leather (ok, I know what your thinking).

Great colors on the walls, black and white tiled bathrooms (4 in total), some of the best hand crafted woodwork I have ever seen - perfectly stained in a rich mahogany color and a really cool funky / black ceiling with wrought iron ceiling fans.

My favorite area (other then the brewery itself) is the mezzanine level which seats about 45 people. From this level you have a great view of the entire restaurant as well as outside to Main Street. From here you can really survey the scene (and keep an eye on the staff)!!

Stay tuned for more updates either on the website or via our email list.

Now let's talk about our Home Office, our Flagship Location the one that started it all I'm talking about Granby baby!!!

This Saturday night is our "St. Patty's Day in July" party with possibly the best Irish Rock band on the planet "RATHKELTAIR"!! Have you ever heard a band play Stair way to Heaven on the Bagpipes, me neither but if anyone can it's these guys!

The band starts at 9:00 but the funs begins at 5:00, so get down here and grab a seat early, watch the end of the Red Sox / Yankees game, order some Corned Beef and Cabbage and rock out!

Thanks for your time I hope to see you tomorrow night for St. Patty's Day in July (rumor has it that Scott and I will both be here on the same evening).

Cheers,

Steve B.

p.s. Did I mention that Brewer Chris has brewed a wonderful traditional Irish Red Ale for the occasion?

p.s.s. Can't wait for tomorrow? Then come down tonight and enjoy our Happy Hour on the Deck with music by Chris Fenn.
