St. Patrick's Month!!

Yes, it's that time of year again time to celebrate the Irish, The Husky's and of course Great Beer!!!!

This Saturday both locations kick off St. Paddy's day with an authentic Irish menu featuring a traditional Corned Beef Dinner for only $13.99!

Schedule of events:

Saturday 3/14/08 starting at 6:00 PM Torrington will be hosting a fundraiser for the St. Baldricks Foundation which raises money for children's cancer. Last year there were 568 events this year we decided to make it 569!!!

In 2008 more than 27,000 volunteers shaved their heads in solidarity with children fighting cancer; this year we have over 25 people lined up to do it here in T-Town (courtesy of Platinum Salon). Our goal is to raise $10k for the foundation.

There will be a live auction for items from the Warner Theater, Thomas Hooker Brewing, CBH and perhaps the most interesting item is a membership to our T-Town mug club for Mug #3!!!

There will be live music by Infinity, a bag piper to open the event, Uconn B-Ball (I hope)and green beer......

Sunday 3/15/09 from 10:00AM - 2:00 PM Granby will be serving our first ever "Kegs & Eggs" brunch with traditional Irish Fare including home made corned beef hash, stout steak and eggs and brew and bloody specials!

Tuesday 3/17/09 - Both locations will open early serving Irish fare all day and all night long!!

Granby will have live entertainment with O'Ray Ray (he knows the unicorn song) and in Torrington we will have Mc'Infinity rocking like the Drop Kick Murphy's!!!

Green Beer, corned Beef, Sheppard's Pie and of course Jameson will be flowing all day and night - so come get your Irish on!!

Saturday 3/21/09 - Torrington Release Party - join us for a bit of history, come taste the first 3 beers ever brewed in Torrington (commercially that is). We will be tapping the Kolsch, IPA and the Three Steve Stout!!

March Madness - Both locations will have all the NCAA tourny games, so come down and watch your brackets fall apart when a 16th seed finally knocks off a #1 seed (it could happen)!!!

On a different note I want to let everybody know that both locations now have beer in every tank (fermenters) and should be back to full capacity in a few days!!! So thank you for your patience and I hope to see you at one of the pubs soon!

Cheers,

Steve O'Boucino
